Recently, Les Carrières de la Pierre Bleue Belge contributed to the development of a cladding solution in Belgian Blue Stone created by the company Isosystems, manufacturer of insulating panels in polyurethane and natural clay (Gebrik).

This new product, launched at the 2007 Batibouw building industry tradeshow, is a panel of 1m² with a thickness of 60mm, weighing 30kg. The outer face is Belgian Blue Stone (12mm) while the rest of the panel is made of polyurethane.

This product is significant because it combines an insulating solution with an aesthetic solution. In addition it is very light and therefore easily installed.

Its principle of mechanical fixing using screws makes it possible to construct a building without foundations or a base.

This product has been selected for the Prix de l’Innovation [Innovation prize] by the Construction Industry in collaboration with Fisa at the 2007 Batibouw trade show.
